Two days into townhood, Obscura's wealth has grown sixfold, and with it a set of questions no one has yet answered out loud. Who earned this boom, who was left behind by it, and what, if anything, the government intends to do about the gap. We sat down with Mayor Storm to put those questions to him directly. He answered some plainly, hedged on others, and on one, declined to answer at all.

Yes and No, I believe that people are learning how to sell materials which has created an imbalance in wealth between producers to those who have not.

Do you believe that those who have wealth have earned it or would you rather that be donated

I would argue that more distribution of wealth would be a positive for the society, even if not directly to the society bank account

Aestorusian Industries raised its minimum wage voluntarily. Is that the kind of private solution you'd rather see than a tax?

We need more balance in our wages, at both extremes of too much and too little, but would argue that wages in general should increase.

Where does the government draw the line on state-owned business? If water and lumber, why not logistics, or carpentry itself?

The real estate market is fully open at around 3,500 per plot. What safeguards, if any, prevent a single wealthy buyer from acquiring every plot and renting them back?

I believe that if they can afford it, they should do it, but there is a limit on too much, which will be seen when we get there
